
Many Massachusetts jails are so crowded that some inmates are being housed in hallways and gymnasiums. The Worcester County Jail, which is 190% over capacity, is under court order to reduce its number of inmates. Sheriff Guy Glodis says he may have to start releasing prisoners to comply with the order. Why are jails more crowded than ever and what should be done to address the problem?








i seriously think that the inmates that have petty crimes are the ones they should let go not the ones who have a previous record or the ones who do violent crimes like rape,attempted murder or other violent crimes
